Earth Observation is the science of collecting information about our planet from satellites, drones, aircraft, and ground sensors. The data helps us understand Earth’s systems, track changes over time, and make informed decisions about farming, conservation, cities, and disaster response.

This is why maths matters. It plays an important role in real-world solutions. In partnership with RMIT University (School of Science), Cosmos has created content for you and younger readers to see maths in action.
