Somewhere in north-west NSW among 35,000 hectares of forest in the Pilliga National Park, a killer has been hiding.

Nicknamed Rambo, the bandit evaded capture for more than 4 years, almost stopping a multi-million conservation project in its tracks.

Until March, when he was finally declared dead; today the man who tracked Rambo relentlessly since 2018 tells how the hunters hunted and how the fugitive met his end … or did he? Cosmos Country reporters Jamie Seidel and Glenn Morrison are on the trail.
